The 2025 Group Leisure & Travel Awards dinner and ceremony will return to the five-star Royal Garden Hotel, London on Thursday 26th June, and promises another fantastic night of celebration.

Guests enjoying dinner at the 2024 GLT Awards ceremony

This year’s awards dinner was attended by over 300 guests in London.

The decision was made to keep the GLT Awards in London following the overwhelming amount of positive feedback after the 2024 ceremony, which was staged back in the capital for the first time in more than 20 years.

Ellen Walker of Travel Editions was enthusiastic after this year’s event. She told us: “The GLT Awards are the BAFTAs of group travel, recognising the best providers, and most importantly, they are voted for by group travel organisers. They are a unique event and we loved attending them in the summer months and in London.”

Following the guest feedback survey, one attendee said it was “one of the best event dinners I have been to in many years, outstanding,” while another described the venue as “superb”.

GLT publisher, Rob Yandell said: “The 2024 Group Leisure & Travel Awards was our best attended event since before the pandemic, and the guests I spoke to on the night were incredibly enthusiastic about the venue.”

“But we will not rest on our laurels and will work hard to make any improvements needed to make it another first class experience.

“We’re thrilled that the GLT Awards will remain in London next summer and look forward to using this unique initiative to shine a spotlight on the amazing people, places and providers that help create memorable group trips and holidays.”
