Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines has revealed its top 20 destinations in a new brochure for the 2019/20 season.
On the list, for groups to discover, is the adult-only ‘Best of the Norwegian Fjords in Seven Nights’ cruise onboard the Balmoral.
Setting sail from Newcastle on 28th May, 2019, this voyage calls at Bergen, Flåm, Aurlandsfjord, Olden, Nordfjord, Hellesylt and Storfjord.
Continuing on a cool theme, Black Watch is offering a nine-night ‘Taste of Iceland’ from Liverpool on 28th June. Prices start from £1,299 per person with the ship stopping at Reykjavik, Ísafjörður, Akureyri and Seyðisfjörður.
For those inclined to head for warmer climes, Fred Olsen’s ‘Top 20 Cruises’ brochure highlights Boudicca’s 22-night ‘Amalfi, Tuscany and the Italian Riviera’ cruise (adult-only), leaving Dover on 25th April.
Ports of call are Malaga, Mahon, Sorrento, Naples, Campania, Amalfi, Rome, Livorno, Portofino, Liguria, Genoa, Cartagena, Lisbon and Vigo.
Cruises of choice
Other planned voyages, including the enchanting gardens of Madeira and the flourishing lavender fields of Provence, offer an opportunity for getting back to nature while ashore.
All prices are based on two adults sharing a twin-bedded Interior room and include accommodation, all meals and entertainment on board, plus port taxes.
For added peace of mind, guests can also choose to upgrade to Fred. Olsen’s all-inclusive drinks package from just £15 per person per night.
Martin Lister, head of itinerary planning and destination experience for Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, which has won Best Cruise Line as part of the Group Leisure & Travel Awards, several times, said: “We pride ourselves on bringing the world closer, which is reflected in the exceptional itineraries included in our latest brochure.
“There is something to capture the hearts and imagination of all of our guests, both old and new.”
