Lace Market Hotel suite

The Lace Market Hotel in Nottingham’s Creative Quarter has reopened following a £300,000 refurbishment, and group booking is available.

The hotel has undergone an extensive refit, and boasts a fresh look for its restaurant, cocktail bar, and 42 individually styled boutique rooms and suites inside.

The Grade II listed Georgian townhouse has been described as retaining its character, while offering modern luxuries to guests.

In-house dining

Groups can choose to dine in style in the Merchants Restaurant – which seats 64 – or enjoy a more casual affair at the adjacent Cock and Hoop Pub which offers traditional pub grub and cask ales.

Additionally, the Saint Bar provides drinks by award-winning mixologist James Vyse. Exclusive cocktail creations on the beverage menu include the Makewell Tart and Popcorn Martini.

Private dining for groups is an option for those who’d like a quieter space; the Flagstaff room has a seating capacity of 22.

Bedrooms

Standard room amenities include flat screen HD televisions, Wi-Fi, minibars and a refreshment counter, and en-suite bathrooms.

Meanwhile, the superior rooms and suites include original fireplaces, free-standing bathtubs, artwork and period interior designs.

What to do in the Creative Quarter

The hotel is located in Nottingham's Creative Quarter, and nearby attractions include the art galleries at Nottingham Contemporary, the Galleries of Justice, and Nottingham Castle.

Bridlesmith Gate, the Capital FM Arena and the Old Market Square are no more than half a kilometre away as well.
