Papua New Guniea Photography Cruise

Travel operator Steppes Travel’s 2019 group tours include trips on the Trans-Siberian Railway and visits to the Biblical Lands.

The firm, which recently celebrated 30 years, offers groups intrepid travel and excursions ‘outside the ordinary’.

It offers more than  40 different worldwide tours, suitable for smaller groups of six, to larger groups of 60.

About the new tours 

Artisans Of Tuscany will allow groups to discover Florence's master artisans, stay in a Tuscan castle and learn to cook authentic dishes. This eight-day tour allows guests to 'live like a local'.

The Luxury Trans-Siberian Train Journey is a 15-day trip visiting various destinations including Moscow, Kazan, Lake Baikal and Vladivostok. Groups will see the Kremlin and mosque and visit various other religious and iconic venues. Considered one of the world’s greatest train journeys, groups of up to 20 can enjoy seeing so much in one trip.

Journey Through Biblical Lands, a nine-day trip, will give guests insight into the political and religious history of locations such as Jerusalem, Golan and Telaviv. You will be accompanied by geo-political regional specialists and archaeology curators on excursions during the tour.

The Antarctica, Falklands & South Georgia Cruise, suitable for up to 60 people, will explore wildlife hotspots, sail an Antarctic expedition and feature animal experts.

Papua New Guniea Photography Cruise is another new tour, suitable for groups of up to 32. During this trip, you'll get to meet crocodiles on the Sepik River and dive and snorkel through coral reefs, taking photos of your finds.

Other new tours could see you photographing the Paro Tsechu festival in Bhutan, swimming with spinner dolphins in Costa Rica or visiting a crocodile initiation ceremony in the Sepik.

Single supplements offer for groups
