Restaurant cruise company Bateaux London has announced reduced prices for its lunch, afternoon tea, Sunday lunch and dinner cruises for parties of 21 or more.
The offer is valid for either of the company’s vessels, Harmony or Symphony, which, according to Bateaux London, are “the only boats on the Thames equipped with galley kitchens, ensuring all food served on-board is freshly prepared and cooked to order” by the company’s teams of chefs.
About the offer
Harmony and Symphony depart daily throughout the summertime from Embankment Pier and Victoria Embankment, in London.
Groups that book afternoon tea cruises will be served a traditional assortment of sandwiches, pastries and scones, while lunch and dinner cruise menus feature regularly changing, three and four-course menus, reflecting current seasonal ingredients.
The cruises vary in length, giving diners views of some of the capital’s most iconic landmarks, such as Tower Bridge, the Palace of Westminster and St Paul’s Cathedral.
Group guests will also be provided with a dedicated reception area, easy access to boats, cloakroom facilities, as well as the option to hire exclusive dining rooms at no extra cost, subject to availability.
About the cruisers
Bateaux London began operating restaurant cruises on the Thames in 1992, following a successful fleet of ‘restaurant cruisers’ in Paris, called Bateaux Parisiens, operated by the company’s owners, Sodexo Group.
Parisian vessel Symphony sports an all-glass structure, enabling guests to enjoy London views without interruption. It can accommodate 260 people for a seated dining experience and 300 guests for a standing reception.
Scandinavian-designed vessel Harmony is equipped with picture-frame windows, allowing views for all guests, and also features an outdoor rooftop observation deck. Harmony can accommodate up to 200 guests for a seated dining experience or up to 220 guests for a standing reception.
