The Melody

A new dining cruise from river cruise line Bateaux Windsor will launch at the end of March on board a new river boat called The Melody

The Melody acts as a floating restaurant on the Thames and can cater for more than 30 passengers.

Groups can privately hire the boat and enjoy the view of the River Thames and Windsor’s green landscape, while enjoying a range of different menus and live entertainment.

Passengers can opt for various packages on board The Melody including a sit down dinner or a standing reception, with menus that cater to these requests.

Cruise packages

An Afternoon Tea Cruise will allow passengers to enjoy traditional afternoon tea whilst sailing down the river, meanwhile learning about Windsor and its surroundings. There will also be an on board pianist playing to set the ambience.

A Sunday Lunch Cruise, meanwhile, involves a relaxing voyage whilst listening to classical music as well as a live three piece jazz band, accompanied by a three course meal.

GTOs can also book onto a Lunch Cruise that provides groups with an audio commentary relaying the stories of London’s history. This cruise also offers a three course lunch.

There is also a Dinner Cruise; this is slightly longer and offers a five course meal with fine wine and an evening of entertainment and celebration, including a live band.
