June this year will bring the return of BBC Gardeners’ World Live at the NEC, featuring new Rose Festival and VegTrug Stage.
The annual festival will return between 16th and the 19th of June, bringing with it a variety of different show gardens, talks and workshops.
This year’s show gardens will display horticulture and design, featuring gardens reflecting current trends and a diverse range of themes.
Some gardens on show will include Paul Stone’s Canal Boat Garden, which will represent the Midlands’ waterways, A Place To Dwell by Birmingham School of Architecture and Design, which will later be re-located to the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham itself, and Owen Morgan’s Community Garden.
Monty Don, Alan Titchmarsh, Carol Klein and Joe Swift will all be sharing their gardening advice at the BBC Gardeners’ World Live Theatre, which is sponsored by Wyevale Garden Centres – who will also host a session each day.

This year’s festival will also include the Floral Marquee, sponsored by GreenThumb, which has been refreshed for this summer.
It will include top quality nurseries and, new for this year, a Rose Festival where specialist rose growers will come together to showcase displays with a variety of different roses on sale and a dedicated rose advice area.
Other features new for 2016 include a space for BBC Gardeners’ World Magazine, which will showcase design ideas and container recipes. The interactive and informative zone will include the Container Gallery, featuring planting ideas, a front and back garden and the Potting Shed Theatre.
Here, garden experts from the magazine will share advice on techniques and styles when it comes to gardening.
The VegTrug Stage is also new for this year, featuring experts from the industry giving hands-on demonstrations on ways to make even the smallest plots both tasty and productive.
Groups of eight or more can benefit from 30 per cent off standard ticket rates, a show guide and recipe collection available at the show and one free ticket alongside every eight purchased.
