Guided tours of the locations and props used in the show have returned to the dockyard in Kent as the 14th season of the BBC show airs.

Enjoy behind-the-scenes glimpses of the filming locations and props, guided by costumed ‘midwives’.

Visitors can see how the attraction is transformed into East London for the filming of the BBC series which has already been commissioned for a 15th season.

The tour offers fans an exclusive behind-the-scenes glimpse of the filming locations,  as well as a chance to see the original sets, costumes, props and artefacts from the show in the gallery.

Whilst the show is set in the East End of London, many of the outside scenes from the show are filmed at The Historic Dockyard Chatham in Kent, including the Grosvenor Hotel and ‘Chummy’s Hill’, where Nurse Noakes learnt to ride her bike.

Groups can explore the streets of ‘Poplar district’, where the midwives in the show cycle to reach patient’s homes.

Walk in the footsteps of Nurse Trixie Franklin, Sister Julienne and Dr Turner and explore where the drama happens. Official location tours include a 90-minute, guided Call the Midwife experience and access to The Historic Dockyard Chatham and its collection of historic warships and galleries. Cream tea, with or without prosecco can be added as an additional treat.
