Carnival Cruise Line will add a wide range of new dining and bar innovations to its ship, Carnival Inspiration as part of a multi-million dollar renovation.
Guy’s Burger Joint will serve hand-crafted burgers and fresh-cut fries by the poolside. The venue has been developed with Food Network personality and American restaurateur, Guy Fieri, whose love of car culture and Californian roots will be evident in the burger joint’s décor.
The Mexican eatery, BlueIguana Cantina, will give groups the chance to tuck into freshly made burritos and tacos or homemade tortillas, whilst the BlueIguana Tequila Bar will offer tequila-based frozen drinks and beers to enjoy by the poolside afterwards.
Two further bars are to be added to the Carnival Inspiration, namely RedFrog Rum Bar and Alchemy Bar.
Groups will be able to enjoy a Carribean rum-based frozen drink or beer, including Carnival’s own private label draught brew, ThirstyFrog Red, at the ship’s RedFrog Rum Bar.
The Alchemy Bar, meanwhile, has been designed as a vintage themed cocktail pharmacy where mixologists will prescribe travellers concoctions to try.
In addition to the ship’s new dining and bar experiences, Carnival Inspiration’s 24-hour pizzeria, casino, and health and wellness centre will remain on board.
The makeover will be carried out in dry dock until 5th February. After this, the 2,052-passenger ship will resume its year-round schedule of three and four day Baja cruises from Long Beach, California.
Carnival Inspiration departs every Friday on three day cruises to Ensenada and every Monday on four day cruises to Ensenada and Catalina Island.
