Ranging from multimedia guides and secret mission packs to code-breaking puzzles and a new exhibition on smart technology, family groups visiting Bletchley Park can take part in various activities this summer.
Visitors can also download free activity sheets giving young people a chance to learn more about the many different roles fulfilled by the thousands of women and men who worked at Bletchley Park.
Rebecca Foy, director of public engagement at Bletchley Park Trust, said: “Whether you’re looking to fill an afternoon, or after a whole day out, we’ve got a lot to see and do at Bletchley Park for families. Our new free family puzzle trail is the perfect excuse to explore our beautiful outdoor spaces whilst learning something new. Keeping safe
Bletchley Park has received VisitEngland’s ‘We’re Good to Go’ accreditation, meaning that all safety and hygiene measures are in place to keep visitors and staff safe. Full details on all the safety measures are available on the Bletchley Park website .
People can see the restored code-breaking huts, interactive displays and exhibitions, plus buy food and drink from the Hut 4 café or new pop-up kiosk. Local residents living within a 10 mile radius can make use of 50% off admission price.
Now an independent museum and visitor attraction, Bletchley Park was the secret World War Two home of Britain’s Government Code and Cypher School, where vital signals intelligence was produced that directly impacted on those on the front line.
