Wiltshire estate Longleat has announced that group dining will be available in its newly-built event facility, The Longhouse, this winter, which can be combined with the Festival of Light.
Booking Christmas dinner in the Longhouse will be available on selected dates from 10th November until 2nd January, with groups being able to book a two or three course sit-down meal in parties of up to 200. During that period, Longleat will host its annual Festival of Light; an outdoor light display that has been taking place in the UK since 2014.
About the Festival of Light
This year will be the fourth year of the Festival of Light, which sees hundreds of illuminated designs populate the historic grounds.
While preparations are underway for 2017’s event, the theme has not been disclosed, but every lantern that will be on display has been newly-designed by Longleat as complete originals.
The lanterns will be custom-built throughout the summer, as some of them have measured in the past up to 20 metres in height and 70 metres in length.
Following their construction, the designs will appear throughout the expansive gardens and grounds of Longleat estate.
Perks for groups
Groups will have the opportunity to book their Festival of Light tickets before they go up for general sale, while groups of over 12 parties can also take advantage of Longleat’s ‘2016 for all 2017’ booking rates.
In addition, groups will be able to exclusively access complimentary organiser tickets, driver lunch vouchers, as well as free parking and discounted food and beverage vouchers for guests.
