CroisiEurope has revealed that it has expanded its Walk and Cruise programme to feature guided walks and hikes through Paris, Strasborug and the Wachau Valley among others.
The Walk and Cruise initiative makes it possible for passengers to take part in a series of guided walks while they are on their cruise.
The extended programme for autumn and winter 2016 includes the itineraries Walking in the Gironde Region, From the Norman Coast to Paris and Hiking in the Former Austro-Hungarian Empire among others.
The six day Walking in the Gironde Region cruise is a round trip from Bordeaux which includes guided walks through vineyards, marshlands and the valleys of places such as Medoc, Dordogne and the Garonne.
Walks along the Seine Valley and Alabaster Coast both feature on the From the Norman Coast to Paris seven day cruise itinerary, which also includes guided walks through Paris.
Groups may also enjoy Hiking in the Former Austro-Hungarian Empire, which includes an eight day cruise round trip from Vienna. Hiking trails in the Wachau Valley, the Little Carpathians, Budapest, Visegrad and Leopoldsberg are all highlights of this trip.
The trips begin to depart in September, and the extended programme also features cruises departing from as late as November.
Other trips include Hiking Along Three Borders: France, Germany and Switzerland, The Romantic Rhine Valley, The Douro Valley and Andalusia and The Beauty of Spain.
