Bold Castle%2C Thousand Islands

CroisiEurope is introducing its first ever Canada cruise, exploring the country’s earliest European settlements and taking in the scenery of the Thousand Islands and the Niagara Falls.

The ten-day cruise from Quebec to Toronto aboard the MS Jacques Cartier will take guests to Trois-Rivières, Montreal, Ottawa, The Thousand Islands, Prince Edward County and Kingston. It will sail on the mighty St Lawrence River and Lake Ontario.

Groups will be able to choose from optional excursions to Niagara Falls, Niagara-on-the-Lake, the CN Tower in Toronto and an authentic sugar shack on a maple farm.

Highlights will include visits to the historical centres of Quebec, Montreal, Toronto and Kingston, and tasting of local wines and delicacies including maple products in Trois-Rivieres.

There will also be the chance to try smoked meats in Montreal, Prince Edward County’s cheddar cheese and beer, and Canada’s famous ice wine.

Guests on the cruise will find themselves acquainted with Canadian history, from the first settlements to the present day.

And for those with an eye for the aesthetic, a major highlight will be discovering the wilderness surrounding the famous Niagara Falls.
