Silversea has announced its 2018 cruise programme, and one of the highlights is a 44 day-long cruise around the Mediterranean.
Groups taking the Ultimate Mediterranean Experience voyage will spend the 44 days in the heart of the Mediterranean onboard Silversea’s flagship, Silver Muse.
The voyage will call at 39 different ports in nine different countries, from the Greek Isles and the Balearics, to the French Riviera, Tuscany and the Amalfi Coast.
Highlight coast excursions on this cruise will include trips to monuments such as the Colosseum in Rome and the Acropolis in Athens, and spotlight destinations include Santorini, Monte-Carlo, Sardinia and Dubrovnik.
Groups will have the chance to dine on fresh fish in the Balearics, drink Madeira in Madeira and take a gondola ride in Venice.
Other cruises in 2018
Groups travel organisers can choose from a number of Silversea cruises in 2018; the nine ships from across Silversea’s Classic and Expedition fleet will visit 130 countries throughout the year.
A number of UNESCO World Heritage Sites have been included on many of the 2018 itineraries, including Halong Bay in Vietnam.
Other itineraries in addition to the Ultimate Mediterranean Experience include the New Asian Experience, and Explorer by Name and by Nature.
The New Asian Experience offers voyages to the Philippines on either the Shadow, Whisper or Muse. A key highlight destination on this trip is the island of Palawan, famous for its lakes, waterfalls and wildlife.
Explorer by Name and by Nature, meanwhile, is a cruise onboard the Silver Explorer that will sail across the Pacific Ocean to Kiribati, the Cook Islands and French Polynesia, adding new ports of call along the way.
Other stops include the north-west coast of America, Costa Rica, and the Southern-most tip of Mexico’s Baja California peninsula.
