A new Groups Department has been launched by Encore which will give group travel organisers and coach tour operators an exclusive account handler on future bookings.
Senior sales manager, Sergio Cicalo, said: “As the name says, the ‘Groups Only’ team will be totally focussed on all aspects of group bookings – and nothing else. We know our group partners value having a one-to-one rapport with their expert contact at Encore and the new team will help build that business partnership to give our group partners the best possible service.”
The new team will help GTOs and coach tour operators make the most of new shows hitting London’s West End, such as the return of Chicago (for which Encore has group rates for ten or more people, booking until 6th October).
The Encore Groups’ account handlers will also be able to tell group bookers all about Encore’s Sale or Return scheme for coach operators, and the Loyal Circle reward for non-profit group organisers. This awards scheme was set up in 2017, and Encore is predicting a sales increase of around £30 million in 2018 on the back of this.
Encore’s head of sales, Jo Bachelor, commented: “Our core values rest on tourism and entertainment services, and with everything London and the West End in particular has to offer we are lucky to work in such a rewarding industry.”
