Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines has unveiled a new programme of itineraries for autumn and winter 2026, with more than 30 sailings to choose from, as well as an inclusive pricing initiative.
The new cruise programme includes a range of holidays for groups, such as the Fleet Fiesta in Gran Canaria in December 2026. This will see Borealis join Bolette and Balmoral in Las Palmas for day.
Other top picks within the programme range from a mystery cruise and Christmas voyages, all the way to the French Riviera and Greek islands.
Fred. Olsen’s ‘You Choose Your Cruise’ itinerary will return in December 2026, allowing groups to take charge of their itinerary by voting between two destinations for each stop.
There is a 71-night Grand Voyage among the new additions in the programme. This Mediterranean fly-cruise takes guests to Corsica, the Adriatic, Greece, the French Riviera, the Amalfi Coast and more, with calls to the Italian ports of Messina, Siracusa and Savona, plus Lesvos and Samos in Greece.
Other itineraries available include Borealis’ eight-night ‘Scenic Norwegian Fjords’ cruise which cruises along narrow fjords only accessible to smaller ships, and Bolette’s 14-night ‘Canary Islands & Geminid Metoer Shower’ cruise which provides an opportunity to witness the Gemenid Meteor Shower from the ship’s deck.
Support for group bookers
The cruise line has a dedicated group sales team which is available to guide group travel organisers through the booking process. Groups can make use of a range of benefits, including free cruise places for group leaders, funding towards airport coach transfers and discounts on travel insurance.
On-board benefits for groups include a drinks party, group dining, a private group afternoon tea and exclusive use of the ship’s facilities such as lecture or meeting rooms.
Martin Lister, head of product innovation at Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, said: “We have had great fun planning our next programme of cruising, with plenty of sailings offering the chance to extend summer’s warmth as the days become shorter and darker back home.
“We’ve included some particularly special sailings to both warmer and cooler climates, from the chance to witness the Geminid Meteor Shower from the vantage point of the sea, where there is less light pollution, to adventures to seek out the Northern Lights.
“Extra special for December 2026, is our ‘Fleet Fiesta’, the fourth event of its kind where our fleet come together, accompanied by a day filled with festivities on the quayside, with the Canaries’ year-round sunshine providing the perfect setting.”
Inclusive pricing initiative
In addition to the new sailings programme, an inclusive pricing initiative will be introduced from January 2026 onwards. This means guests will be able to enjoy house beers, wines, spirits and draught soft drinks included with lunch and dinner.
Entertainment and enrichment activities including shuttle buses when the port is more than one mile from the ship, guided social strolls in selected ports, fitness classes, crew gratuities and port fees and taxes will all covered in the cost of the cruise fare.
Fred. Olsen is also introducing a premium drinks package as an optional upgrade. Guests who have already booked a drinks package for a cruise in 2026 will automatically be upgraded to the new package at no extra cost.
