For groups to enjoy a complete sightseeing tour of Windsor, river cruise company French Brothers has introduced new joint river and bus tours.
The river cruises are expected to take around 40 minutes and will be followed by a tour on one of the iconic Original Tour sightseeing buses.
The offer will allow groups to see the sights of Windsor ‘the best way’ and give full views from both the river and road.
French Brothers says that a highlight of the tour is seeing Windsor Castle from the river, from the upper deck of the boat.
More information about the combined offer
The river cruise boat will depart from Windsor Promenade and will take passengers upstream to Boveney Lock before returning, with views of Windsor Castle, Eton College, Mill House, Windsor Racecourse and Brocas meadows.
The bus tour will take you to see the rest of the historic town and further views of Windsor Castle.
Tickets for the combined experience are valid for 24 hours allowing visitors the opportunity to get on and off the bus at the 11 hop-on-hop-off stops that are of interest along the route.
Group travel with French Brothers
Based on the Thames River at Windsor, Runnymede and Maidenhead, French Brothers can offer groups scenic sailings onboard a variety of luxury riverboats.
The riverboat company offers a multitude of options for group travellers, from Vintage Tea Cruises which involve finest afternoon teas in which large groups can hire an entire boat out, to lunch cruises, garden cruises and even festive trips.
GTOs should also keep an eye out for special cruises throughout the year, such as the Autumn Colours Cruise, which takes passengers to admire the picturesque changing of the season, and Bird & Wildlife Cruises for animal lovers.
