The O2%2C Greenwich Peninsular

Groups Direct, a group experience company, has launched a new Ambassador Scheme to enhance group days out.

The scheme, which is attached to most of the UK day excursions available from Groups Direct, will pair each group up with an ambassador whose job it will be to help the group organiser escort their party around during their day.

All ambassadors are hand-picked by the Groups Direct team and will help with issues like keeping everyone together, making sure a restaurant is ready for the group, and liaising with a Blue Badge Guide.

The ambassador will also help deal with any immediate issues that might crop up.

Managing director, Gavin Davies, commented: “We strongly believe that groups deserve the very best care during their Groups Direct day excursion, whether purchased directly through us, or through a third party, like a coach operator.

“From the minute they arrive for their excursion, to the minute they depart, an ambassador will be with them to make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible.”

The cost of an ambassador is included within the Groups Direct day excursions that are marked with the relevant product stamp.

If a day trip doesn’t come with an ambassdor, GTOS can book one for an additional fee.
