Hard Rock Café is teaming up with Ripley’s Believe It or Not! London to present a Hard Rock Couture exhibition, as the famous café celebrates its 45th birthday.
The exhibition will feature one-off items of clothing and apparel from Lady Gaga, Elvis Presley, Rihanna, and Paul McCartney and will be on display at Ripley’s Believe It or Not! from 3rd February until 10th April.
Hard Rock Café is known for its expansive collection of rock ‘n’ roll memorabilia that adorns the walls of its cafes around the world.
Its Couture exhibition will showcase some of the trendsetting clothing from rock and pop stars that has influenced the fashion world.
Items on display will include a feathered Dior jacket worn by front man Brandon Flowers of The Killers, Paul McCartney’s suit made by tailors to The Beatles and stage costumes from global superstars such as Katy Perry and Jimi Hendrix among others.
Hard Rock’s European marketing manager, Narissa O’Moore, commented, “This is the first of many exciting activities we have planned to celebrate 45 years of Hard Rock. We scoured our 78,000 piece collection to pull together a collection that will truly wow our guests.
“The collection showcases a unique part of music and indeed fashion history and gives fans an opportunity to see that history first hand.”
