The Nieuw Statendam will return to Dover in 2026 for a UK sailing season.

The 2,666-guest Nieuw Statendam ship and the 2,668-guest Rotterdam will be positioned in northern Europe, with Nieuw Statendam also returning to Dover for a UK season.

Ten round-trip UK sailings will depart from Dover between April and October 2026, taking in the Canary Islands, British Isles, Arctic Circle, North Cape, Norwegian Fjords, Baltics and Scandinavia.

The 2026 European offering includes an increased number of seven-day cruises to Norway’s fjords as well as seven-day sailings between Reykjavik, Iceland, and Rotterdam.

A series of 14-day ‘Baltic and Scandinavian Capitals’ cruises are also available - many of which feature overnights or late-night calls in Oslo, as well as ports in Poland, Latvia, Lithuania and Denmark.

Special group advantages for Holland America Line passengers

A special group advantage programme (GAP) applies to all sailings, which provides special group pricing plus tour conductor credits and special amenities which can be added by using GAP points. For example, certain speciality dining options can be attributed to a certain number of GAP points, or certain activites. Each group receives more GAP points if their cruise is for a longer period of time.

Paul Grigsby, vice president of revenue planning and deployment at Holland America Line, said: “There’s so much to see throughout the Mediterranean region and by creating itineraries from multiple homeports we’re giving our guests the opportunity to explore more ports and countries in an exciting way we haven’t offered before. The range of options we’ve put together really allows travellers to choose their own, ideal Mediterranean adventure.

“Further, we made sure to listen to guest feedback when crafting these itineraries: we’ve included some of our most requested ports, including Bari and Portofino — two of 11 ports of call in Italy. And for the first time in over 15 years, we’re returning to St. Tropez, France.”
