Holland America’s ms Eurodam has undergone a revamp and now features a new bar, various entertainment venues and suite upgrades.
Entertainment options
One of the new additions is the Lincoln Center Stage, in partnership with Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, which showcases an ensemble performing chamber music during voyages. Groups onboard can enjoy afternoon recitals as well when not off exploring ports of call.
The Billboard Onboard, in partnership with Billboard music charts, is another new entertainment venue and features the talents of live musicians — including two pianists, a guitarist and a DJ — who take turns performing shows.
What to drink?
Other additions to the ms Eurodam include the Gallery Bar, making its debut in the former Northern Lights venue. Described as sophisticated, the onboard venue will serve an exclusive cocktail menu created by celebrity mixologist Dale DeGroff.
Groups partaking in a few drinks in the Gallery Bar can expect an adornment of ‘eclectic and whimsical’ artwork including portraits, landscapes, and still-life and abstract pieces.
What to eat?
With regards to food on board the ms Eurodam, the former casual Lido buffet has been transformed to incorporate a new Lido Market concept — a marketplace with different themed stations offering an array of options including freshly made salads.
Additionally, restaurant New York Pizza has replaced former onboard eatery Slice. New York Pizza offers thin-crust personal pizzas made to order with a wide choice of toppings.
Where to sleep?
The ms Eurodam is also the first Holland America Line ship to undergo extensive developments to its suites as part of a $300 million brand enhancement initiative.
The main living area in each suite has been refreshed with new furniture, carpet, wall coverings and soft goods.
A new interactive television system has been installed throughout the ship as well, featuring large LED flat-screen TV’s with complimentary movies on demand.
