Immersive river cruises with Emerald Waterways for 2022

The cruise line has released its 2022 brochure featuring new itineraries and an opportunity to visit the Floriade Horticulture Expo in Amsterdam, which takes place every ten years between April and October. 

In addition to Emerald’s standard offers, group organisers can take advantage of a free place offer and group bonus benefit. 

Highlights of the 2022 programme include:

City stays - guests can add a stay onto an itinerary including two-night packages in Berlin, Prague, Paris and Madrid. New for 2022, two-nights in Amsterdam can also be added onto a selection of itineraries on the Rhine with accommodation at a centrally located hotel. 

Visiting the once in a decade Floriade Horticulture Expo - next year, guests will have the chance to visit this unique event which is set in a park in Amsterdam. The Dutch horticulture industry presents its latest trends and developments to the rest of the world at the expo. It features a spectacular greenhouse complex, a cable car over the Floriade park, pavilions with sustainable innovations along with an arts and culture programme.

Emerald’s ten-day Springtime Delights cruise, on board its Emerald Luna Star-Ship which departs in April 2022, can include a visit to the expo. 

Five-day Christmas market cruises - Emerald has increased its range of festive river cruises in 2022 to offer five-day itineraries on the Danube, Rhine and Rhône, for people wanting a short Christmas getaway. 

On the five-day Christmas in Southern France river cruise on board the Emerald Liberté Star-Ship, guests will journey from Avignon and experience the festive celebrations that take place in the city, such as carol singing, parades and folk dances. In Tarascon, the programme includes a visit to a traditional olive mill and the chance to explore the Christmas markets of Arles.
