It has been announced that pantomime will return to Croydon’s Waddon Theatre this Christmas with Jack and The Beanstalk.
The pantomime, which will be produced by entertainment company Q Productions, will be running from 7th until 31st December
The Waddon Theatre is situated inside Waddon Leisure Centre and tickets are now on sale.
Synopsis: Jack and The Beanstalk
The popular tale of Jack and The Beanstalk follows a young boy named Jack who lives with his mother in poverty. In order to make some money he takes his cow to market to sell, but instead returns with magic beans, which his mother throws into the earth in a rage.
The magic beans then grow overnight into an incredible beanstalk that reaches the skies and the adventurous Jack climbs up it to discover a giant’s kingdom in the clouds.
The panto is said to be packed with side-splitting comedy, impressive special effects and lavish costumes.
Jack and the Beanstalk will feature Britain’s Got Talent runner-up, Johnny Awsum. He will star as Jack’s brother Billy Trott, while Paisley Billings from Tattoo Fixers will play Fairy, along with a cast of West End performers and live music.
