Groups travelling with Jet2.com and Jet2holidays will be able to fly from Liverpool to the likes of the Canary Islands, Greece, Turkey and Bulgaria.
The announcement marks the latest stage in the operator’s growth plans with Liverpool becoming the 11th UK airport it flies from, adding to the likes of London Stansted, Birmingham, Leeds Bradford and Manchester.
In its first summer of operations from Liverpool John Lennon Airport, which will be 2024, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays will operate up to 54 weekly flights, including 12 flights to both the Canary Islands and the Balearic Islands.
A fleet of four aircraft will fly customers to a choice of destinations across Mainland Spain, the Canary Islands, the Balearic Islands, Greece, Turkey, Bulgaria, Portugal, Madeira and Cyprus.
The programme also includes seven exclusive summer routes to Gran Canaria, Menorca, Rhodes, Zante, Madeira, Paphos and Bourgas (Bulgaria).

Groups of ten or more choosing Jet2 can make use of low deposits, part payments, free name changes and a dedicated groups team.
2024 destinations for groups from Liverpool John Lennon Airport
In Spain, passengers can opt for Alicante or its Spanish islands.
Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Tenerife make up its Canary Island offering or Ibiza, Majorca and Menorca await in the Balearic Islands.
Faro and Madeira are the two options available in Portugal, or groups can go for Paphos in Cyprus, Bourgas in Bulgaria or Antalya, Dalaman or Bodrum in Turkey. Jet 2 will also fly to Corfu, Crete (Heraklion), Kos, Rhodes and Zante in Greece.
