Soap star Faye Brookes and Strictly Come Dancing favourite Kevin Clifton, will lead the cast of the UK and Ireland tour of Chicago.

Chicago has played in 38 countries worldwide and has been seen by an estimated 34 million people.

Opening at Milton Keynes Theatre from 12th October and running until August 2025, the Chicago UK tour will travel to the likes of Theatre Royal in Newcastle, Sheffield’s Lyceum Theatre and the Edinburgh Playhouse, before closing at King’s Theatre, Glasgow.

Faye Brookes is best-known for appearing as Kate Connor in Coronation Street and will take to the stage as nightclub dancer Roxie Hart. The multi-award winning show will also feature TV personality Brenda Edwards as Mamma Morton, West End star Djalenga Scott as Velma Kelly, Joshua Lloyd as Amos Hart and Jordan Lee Davies as Mary Sunshine. 

Kevin Clifton takes on the role of Billy Flynn and made five finals as a professional dancer on Strictly Come Dancing. 

About the show

Set in the 1920s, Chicago tells the story of Roxie Hart, a housewife and nightclub dancer who murders her on-the-side lover after he threatens to walk out on her. Desperate to avoid conviction, she hires Chicago’s slickest criminal lawyer to transform her malicious crime into a barrage of sensational headlines.
