The Group Leisure and Travel Show (GLTS) at the NEC Birmingham is just over a week away, and our most recent exhibitors, including Cornwall Plus, Stowe House and Kynren, share what they’ll be promoting to visitors.
Taking place on Thursday 12th October, the GLTS is an excellent opportunity for group organisers and coach operators to network with attractions, providers, tour operators and everything in between, plus find great deals and assistance for your group.
Here, we shine a spotlight on some of those companies most recently signed up to exhibit, and what they’ll be offering at the show.
About the most recent exhibitors
You’ll find Cornwall Plus on Stand 321. The company offers flexible group accommodation in the heart of Cornwall during July and August in the style of aparthotel bedrooms on the Penryn Campus, near Falmouth.
Also offering accommodation inspiration will be Chatsworth Hotel and Deans Place Hotel. These family-run independent hotels in Sussex house groups from all over Britain and Europe year-round. Bridge tours, bowls, music weekends, walking and cycling are some of the activities available to groups staying with them. Find the hotels on Stand 619.
Stand 322 will house production company Eleven Arches, which is behind the 90-minute show Kynren. The show is annually set against the backdrop of Auckland Castle in Bishop Auckland and offers group discounts of up to 25% per ticket depending on group size, plus a complimentary ticket for the tour organiser among other benefits.
Another recently added exhibitor is the Stowe House Preservation Trust, which provides visitors with the opportunity to explore one of Britain’s 18th century buildings. Georgian interiors and architecture await groups who wish to explore Stowe House, along with access to exhibition space and refreshment options. Talk to the team on Travel Row (28).
Also on Travel Row (30) will be Lancaster Canal Boats, which operates the Lune Aqueduct cruises from Lancaster and entertainment and themed cruises from Barton Grange. Find out about its 2018 programme – from April, it will be supplemented by horse drawn boat cruises from the Barton Grange marina.
Dunster in Exmoor, representing the Yarn Market Hotel and its surrounding area, will be on a Travel Row booth (2). The area is great for walking groups, so GTOs who organise for active parties can visit them at the GLTS for details on holiday inspiration.
