Manchester City Football Club has introduced three new Stadium and Club Tour packages for groups, available to book now.
The new offerings include the Ultimate Football Day Out (in collaboration with the National Football Museum), an Afternoon Tea package, and an Exclusive Special Guest Tour package.
The Ultimate Football Day Out is a day-long experience that begins in Manchester’s city centre with a trip to the National Football Museum. Here, visitors can learn about the history of football as well as take part in a range of games in the Football Plus+ Zone.
The group will gain an insight into Manchester City and what the match day experience is really like for a player. The day ends with a 90-minute behind-the-scenes tour of the Etihad Stadium.
The new Afternoon Tea package, meanwhile, combines afternoon tea in one of the club’s premium hospitality areas with a guided tour of the Etihad Stadium.
A traditional spread of macaroons, scones, sandwiches and freshly brewed teas and coffee will be on offer following a stadium tour.
And from May, visitors will be able to enjoy a special guest tour of the Etihad Stadium, led by one of the many people who work at the stadium.
A tour leader could be the club photographer, the groundsman or a sports psychologist; the leader changes each month. Tours last 90 minutes and include a question and answer session with the special guest.
Group booking information
The new tours are designed for group bookings of ten or more, and are suitable for parties of all ages.
On all three tours, visitors will get a sneak peek inside the team’s match day changing room, emerge onto the pitch through the players’ tunnel, and have the opportunity to sit in Man City manager Manuel Pellegrini’s official press conference seat.
Manchester City offers free coach parking at the Etihad Stadium for all group visits, as well as a free space for the driver to join the tour.
