The Coronation Street Experience ’Relaxed Tour’ option is said to be ideal for those who prefer a gentler pace.

Last year the attraction expanded further by opening its new exhibition, which offered access to Roy’s Rolls and Rovers Return replica sets.

Historic props, a cinema showing classic Corrie moments, along with a café and gift shop were also launched for the first time.

Since then, more than 80,000 visitors have bought tickets for a guided tour of Coronation Street or visited the exhibition, with many also opting to upgrade to an exclusive ‘Star Tour’. In recent months, Corrie icons including Dame Maureen Lipman, Samia Longchambon, Lucy Fallon, Andy Whyment and Colson Smith have greeted fans during the premium experience.

These are now available for groups when booking a weekend tour of the live working set.

  • Twilight Tour: Explore Coronation Street’s famous cobbles during off-peak for less.
  • Relaxed Tour: Ideal for those who prefer a gentler pace, this extended two-hour tour allows fans to take their time, while still covering all the key spots on their visit.

Kristian Johnson, general manager of Coronation Street Experience, said: “It’s been a brilliant first year at the Coronation Street Experience, welcoming everyone from superfans to those who are simply interested in exploring a piece of iconic TV history when visiting Manchester.

“We’re incredibly excited to be able to offer our guests the chance to walk in the footsteps of their favourite characters in ways that cater for the differing needs of Corrie’s legion of adoring fans.”
