DFDS is offering a selection of early booking bargain deals for groups on its Newcastle to Amsterdam service this autumn in celebration of the company’s 150th anniversary.
The two for one deal means that groups who book before the end of August for trips this autumn (between September and December) will pay just £25.25 per person for a mini cruise to Amsterdam – based on four people sharing a four berth cabin.
Additionally, one person goes free for every nine places booked on the cruise.
The cruise includes two nights on board and coach transfers to and from the Dutch capital, allowing up to five hours to explore the city.
On board DFDS’ ships, groups will find a range of dining options, bars and live entertainment.
Restaurants include the 7 Seas all you can eat buffet, Steakhouse and a la carte Blue Riband.
Groups can also save up to 20 per cent on meals when booking in advance and before they travel.
There’s also a casino, games room and cinema on board, as well as shops.
Live entertainment comes in the form of the ship’s house band and acoustic troubadour.
Visiting Amsterdam
Amsterdam has a lot to offer groups, including a number of galleries, museums and different experiences.
Some highlights include the Heineken Experience and the House of Bols.
The Heineken Experience is the first Heineken built brewery in Amsterdam and a visit consists of an interactive tour around the brewery.
Meanwhile, the House of Bols, the Cocktail and Genever Experience is said to be the world’s largest cocktail experience. There, groups will learn about the world of cocktails, liqueurs, bartending and the Dutch spirit Genever, as well as Lucas Bols which is considered the oldest distilled spirit brand.
To take advantage of the early booking discount, groups must book with the offer code GMH2 at www.dfds.co.uk.
