A new rock music themed cruise will set sail this September onboard Cruise & Maritime Voyages’ flagship Magellan.
The new cruise, called Rock the Boat, is run by travel organisation Cruiseco and will feature rock performances and themed parties, as well as visit UK destinations.
Rock the Boat is described as a luxury cruise, and Magellan will set sail from the Port of Tyne in north east England on 2nd September and return on 9th September.
Some of the destinations that the cruise will visit include Newcastle, Aberdeen, Isle of Skye, Liverpool, Dublin and Invergordon.
On-board entertainment
The cruise will feature a number of musical performances including headline acts every night.
Artists and entertainment announced for the cruise’s line-up so far include Suzi Quatro, The Manfreds, The Yardbirds, The Rod Stewart Show, Bon Jovi Tribute Show, and Big Country.
During the day, passengers will have the chance to meet all of the artists, take photos and get signed memorabilia.
There will also be a number of themed events during the cruise, which will include ‘Schools Out’ - a school uniform party; ‘Rock Gods’, a past and present legends costume party; and ‘Pirates of the South Pacific’, a pirates, mermaids and maidens party.
