Mill Rythe Holiday Village

Mill Rythe Holiday Village is introducing a range of new weekend breaks, one of which will feature a touring production straight from the West End.

The performance of Priscilla Queen of the Desert, which started in the West End, originally starring Jason Donovan, will be included in the itinerary of Mill Rythe’s new Primo Weekender break. 

The production will take place in the Mill Rythe ballroom, which will be transformed into the set of the show, the Australian desert. 

The Primo Weekender will include a full daytime programme of experiences and a line-up of evening acts.

The weekend was trialled earlier this month and included 13 different acts, comprising of comedy, music, magic and burlesque. There was also a London double decker bus bar for guests to enjoy throughout the break.

The first official Primo Weekender will take place from 31st March to 3rd April 2017.

Other new breaks at Mill Rythe in 2017

The Cockney Knees-up break will feature performances from ex-Spandau Ballet bassist Martin Kemp, and Steve Harley and the Cockney Rebel band.

The Star Cabaret weekend will feature Des O’Connor CBE and impersonator Joe Longthorne.

The Dive and Jive break will include headline acts such as Jackson Sloan and The Rhythm Tones.

The All Stars 60s Weekender will involve discos, quizzes and tunes from Edison Lighthouse, Vanity Fare, The Merseybeats, Union Gap, Vicki Lambert as Dusty Springfield, Steve Ellis, The Fourmost and The Little Miss Sixties Show. 

The Viva Las Vegas break will pay homage to Elvis, Frank Sinatra, Tom Jones and Barry Manilow, and will include casinos, cabaret shows, nightclubs and cabaret bars.

Finally, the Moonlight and Roses valentine break will see Drifters frontman, Ray Lewis, in the line-up of performers.
