Groups can see in the New Year with a mini cruise to Amsterdam with DFDS.
The ferry operator is offering group rates for parties of ten or more, whilst larger groups can receive one passenger fare free for every 20 passengers booked.
The three night cruise to Amsterdam will leave Newcastle on 30th December 2016 and arrive back in the UK on 2nd January 2017.
It will include time for groups to explore the capital of The Netherlands, and also take in the New Year’s Eve fireworks display from the North Sea canal as the ship makes a special overnight cruise to join in with the celebrations.
The three-night package, which is all-inclusive, also includes:
- A three course dinner on New Year’s Eve
- All lagers, wines, soft drinks, teas and coffees on New Year’s Eve
- A glass of sparkling wine on New Year’s Eve
- Return coach transfers into Amsterdam for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day

Places to visit in Amsterdam
Whilst in Amsterdam, groups can visit the Rijksmuseum, which showcases 8,000 artistic and historical objects telling the story of 800 years of Dutch history; or the Rembrandt House, the former home and workshop of Dutch artist Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn which has now been transformed into a museum displaying the artist’s work, as well as that of his predecessors, contemporaries and pupils.
