This Christmas, Edinburgh’s five-star attraction Dynamic Earth will be bringing the Aurora Borealis, also known as the Northern Lights, to life.
For ten evenings in December, as night falls, the visitor attraction will be transformed into a party venue.
Dynamic Earth is dedicated to telling the story of planet earth and takes visitors on a virtual journey through life and extreme environments.
This year’s theme is the Aurora Borealis. The seasonal event will see the main ‘Stratosphere’ area of Dynamic Earth turned into a colourful winter wonderland.
Through the use of clever lighting, guests will be transported to the North Pole to party under the Northern Lights, giving what the attraction describes as a ‘truly festive feel’.
Group information
Groups of all sizes are welcome to the experience, which will include ‘catering, friendly service and a vibrant atmosphere’.
Tickets include a glass of sparkling wine on arrival, a three-course traditional Christmas dinner, a half bottle of wine per person, and dancing until 1am.
Eilidh Massie, marketing manager at Dynamic Earth said: “Our Christmas parties are always a huge success and this year is shaping up to be no different.
“2017 has been the year of all things polar at Dynamic Earth so it seems only right we end the year on a high with our Aurora Borealis theme. We can’t wait to see the place light up and we look forward to welcoming guests for a night of fun and festivities.”
