Diamond Group Travel has announced the appointment of Rebecca Dance as its new groups co-ordinator.
The appointment has expanded the team to meet the growing demand for group bookings across the company’s rail holiday, river cruise and coach touring portfolios.
Dance joins Diamond Group Travel from the All Leisure Holidays Group, where she worked for over 20 years in a number of roles, most recently as assistant manager responsible for groups and overseas sales.
A familiar face to many group travel organisers, she joined the industry in the early 1990s from an early career as an estate agent.
Dance takes up her new role this month and will work alongside Janet Fielding as part of Diamond’s team, co-ordinating group bookings on cruises along the Rhine, Danube and other European waterways; escorted rail holidays to destinations across Europe; and short breaks by coach in both the UK and Europe.
Diamond Group Travel’s sales and business development manager, Tim Fleming, said: “We are delighted to welcome Rebecca to our growing team. She brings with her a wealth of experience in the groups sector and her appointment makes an important step for us in the expansion of our groups business.
“Rebecca’s reputation among group travel organisers is excellent and we look forward to her making a valuable contribution to our team.”
