River Seine sailings aboard Viking's latest ship

Viking Nerthus, which has capacity for 168 guests, began voyages in France in March, where it will be until December 2025.

The ship features Viking’s signature Scandinavian design and is an identical sister ship to the Viking Kari, the Viking Radgrid, the Viking Skaga and the Viking Fjorgyn. It also has a square bow and a wide variety of stateroom choices.

On selected sailings groups of ten or more can take advantage of a complimentary stateroom for the tenth guest if they are all travelling together.

Viking Nerthus itineraries

The ship sails on round trips from Paris, with ports of call along the Seine including Giverny, Rouen and the beaches of Normandy. 

Paris & the Heart of Normandy (eight days): Dock in the heart of Paris, admiring views of the Eiffel Tower and a replica of the Statue of Liberty from your ship. Then experience history at the Normandy beaches and enjoy Rouen’s Gothic architecture.

The cruise also enables you to explore Giverny and the house and gardens where Claude Monet lived and worked, the setting inspiring many of his masterpieces.

Christmastime in Paris & Normandy (eight days): Discover the renowned sights of Paris and sail through seasonal landscapes in Normandy. There will be fairy-tale villages to admire and a call at the region’s cultural capital of Rouen.

As you meander along the Seine River you will pass elegant residences and charming riverside cafés, returning to Paris to explore its sights, including the Eiffel Tower and the Champs Élysées.
