The boat has three decks, capable of hosting up to 60 people.

The Sabrina has been making voyages in Shrewsbury since 2007, offering day trips, themed cruises and private hire evening cruises on the River Severn. Daily cruises take place between 11am and 4pm, with 45-minute journeys available for groups.

Two new cruises have been launched for groups to mark the milestone. The first is a new Monday to Friday midweek lunch and cruise, beginning at the start of the season in March. Passengers can enjoy the sailing with accompanying commentary, followed by a short walk to St Vincent, a local wine bar and restaurant, for a ploughman’s lunch and cake.

Alternatively, groups of 20 or more can select a cream tea cruise, featuring a local cream tea on board a 45-minute cruise with a commentary. A free place is included for coach drivers.

What else does Sabrina Boat offer groups?

Groups visiting Shrewsbury can choose from a selection of other packages to accompany their 45-minute cruises, including afternoon tea at Shrewsbury Cathedral or fish and chips at family-run restaurant, The Loopy Shrew.

Other offers include group visits to Blists Hill Victorian Museum in Ironbridge, a guided coach tour of Shrewsbury and cream tea and a guided tour at St Mary’s Church.

90-minute guided walking tours of the town, with or without an accompanying boat trip can be booked by groups of ten or more for those looking to discover the history of the town.
