The Coach Travel Group is the result of a merger of Alpine Travel, Barnes Coaches, Coatham Coaches, JH Coaches, Johnsons Coaches, Swans Travel and The Ready Group.
The newly formed group will have around 450 vehicles in its fleet along with 700 employees with the focus on providing the best service to customers.
It is said that the decision behind creating The Coach Travel Group includes a promise to ‘drive enhancements in the sector’ as well as bringing value to passengers across the UK.
By combining resources and expertise, the company has said it can negotiate better deals and invest in new technologies to enhance the overall customer experience.

Coach day trips and holidays
Last year alone, the seven operators transported more than 140,000 passengers on a variety of holidays and day trips. The Coach Travel Group’s aim is to build upon each operator’s reputation for safety and customer service to provide ‘consistently high-quality customer service, as well as operational and safety excellence’.
