Shane Richie

Shane Richie will take on the role of detective superintendent Roy Grace in the stage adaptation of Peter James’ crime novel Not Dead Enough.

This is the third Peter James novel to be adapted for stage, and follows The Perfect Murder and Simple – all from the same franchise.

Shane Richie will be following his role in the nationwide tour of The Perfect Murder earlier this year. In Not Dead Enough, he’ll star opposite Laura Whitmore, who’ll play Cleo Morey.

A new UK tour

Not Dead Enough will tour UK venues from 25th January, opening at the Dartford Orchard Theatre. The tour is currently confirmed to run until 6th May, but further tour dates are expected to be announced next year.

The thriller will visit a number of theatres including the New Victoria Theatre in Woking, Brighton Theatre Royal, the Bristol Hippodrome and the Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury.

Synopsis

Not Dead Enough tells the story of a man named Brian Bishop who claims that he was 60 miles away, asleep, on the night his wife was murdered.

Detective superintendent Roy Grace, while investigating the case, is also dealing with the mysterious disappearance of his own wife. Together, both cases throw up some shocking revelations.
