The National Botanic Garden of Wales is offering coach parties and groups a special discounted rate of £5 per person for all of April and May.
The usual group rate is £7.50 per person.
The offer also includes free entry, a main meal voucher and a £2 gift voucher for the coach driver, which can be spent in the garden gift shop.
There’s also free parking in the 18-bay coach park. The National Botanic Garden of Wales is situated near Llanarthney in the Towy Valley, Carmarthenshire.
What can groups do at the garden?
The garden has plenty to entertain groups with interests including history and horticulture.
The garden is both a visitor attraction and a centre for botanical research and conservation.
Highlights include a collection of lakes, examples of impressive landscaping, and the historic double walled garden.
The latter was rebuilt from ruins, and has been developed to include a modern interpretation of a kitchen garden in one quarter, and ornamental beds in the other three quarters.
Lord Foster’s Great Glasshouse, which houses a collection of Mediterranean climate zone plants, is another highlight not to be missed. It’s reportedly one of the world's largest single-span glasshouses, measuring 110-metres by 60-metres.
April and May are said to be the best time of year to visit the glasshouse, as many of the plants inside bloom around this time.
Groups visiting during this period can also enjoy a packed programme of events.
A Giant Antiques Fair will run on 22nd and 23rd April, and a Mega Plant Sale as well as two bank holiday weekend’s worth of family fun will take place in May.
