The full cast for the 2025 leg of the UK tour of 2:22 A Ghost Story has been announced and includes Kevin Clifton and Stacey Dooley who will star as couple, Sam and Jenny.
2:22 A Ghost Story will embark on a UK tour, opening at Manchester Opera House on 4th August 2025, and continuing through to 29th November 2025, visiting venues including Milton Keynes Theatre, Birmingham Alexandra Theatre and Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, Guildhall.
There will be a second leg of the tour running from 8th January to 20th June 2026, with casting for this to be announced at a later date.
The show is returning due to popular demand following the 2023/24 UK tour, and will be visiting new locations to provide scares to new audiences.
Kevin Clifton (Strictly Come Dancing, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, Chicago) and Stacey Dooley (TV presenter and Strictly Come Dancing winner) star as fictional couple Sam and Jenny in the supernatural thriller. Dooley previously played the role during her 2024 stage debut on the West End.
They will be joined by Grant Kilburn as Ben and Shvorne Marks in the role of Lauren. Kilburn returns to the role having understudied on the 2023 tour and the 2023 Apollo Theatre West End season.
Grant Kilburn said: “Everyone who’s been part of 2:22 A Ghost Story will know how special this show is to me. Having understudied both the characters of Sam and Ben on West End at the Apollo - stepping into Ben’s shoes every night on the UK tour will feel beyond special.
“I’m so thrilled to be back with the Runaway and 2:22 family, reunited with Gabriel Vega Weissman, and bringing Danny Robins’s clever, thrilling script to life alongside an immensely talented cast. I cannot wait to unleash my version of Ben come August!”
About 2:22 A Ghost Story
Jenny believes her new home is haunted, but her husband Sam isn’t having any of it. They argue with their first dinner guests, old friend Lauren and new partner Ben.
Can the dead really walk again? Belief and scepticism clash, but something feels strange and frightening, and that something is getting closer, so they’re going to stay up… until 2:22… and then they’ll know.
The show is written by Danny Robins, creator of the BBC podcast and TV series Uncanny, and is directed by Matthew Dunster. It is produced by Tristan Baker and Charlie Parsons for Runaway Entertainment, Isobel David and Kater Gordon.
Group booking is venue dependant.
