A survey following on from the Group Leisure & Travel Show has revealed that both visitors and exhibitors had an overwhelmingly positive experience at the 2015 exhibition that took place in October.
Key results show that 92 per cent of visitors met the right type of exhibitor and 86 per cent stated that the show experience was ‘good’ or ‘fantastic’. 92 per cent of visitors surveyed said they would visit the show again in 2016.
83 per cent of exhibitors agreed that the GLTS produced good business and 92 per cent are planning to exhibit again next year when the event will mark its 20th anniversary.
The Group Leisure & Travel Show 2016 will take place at the NEC, Birmingham on 20th October. The annual one day event brings together a massive range of attractions, hotels, tour operators, coach companies and more to meet with people who organise group trips and holidays.
Visitors can also hear from expert speakers and celebrity guests. This year’s GLTS featured TV traveller Simon Reeve and celebrity gardener, Joe Swift.
The 2015 seminar theatre included talks about cruise holidays, money-saving tips, and how to choose the right tour operator. Exhibition organisers have already confirmed that the programme will return in 2016 and be open to everyone once again.
Close to 50 exhibitors have already confirmed their stands at what is widely regarded as the number one annual event for group travel organisers and coach tour planners.
Exhibition sales manager, Sharon Yandell commented: “The feedback I’ve received following this year’s show has been hugely positive. As a team we have met to discuss how we can make 2016 even better and the post show survey really helps guide us to ensure we’re delivering the best possible event.”
