Following the success of 2015’s debut, Tenerife Walking Festival will return from 29th March to the 2nd April next year.
The festival aims to give visitors the chance to see Tenerife’s natural beauty and features a range of diverse visitor experiences, across four days of hiking-related activity.
Featuring 15 trails that will vary in length and intensity, the festival is expected to attract 300 ramblers from across Europe.
Routes will fall into three different categories – volcanic landscapes, coastal paths and green trails.. Some of these trails take in the UNESCO-listed Teno Rural Park and the village of Taganana among others.
Like last year, Tenerife Walking Festival 2016 will also feature a wide range of activities including stargazing tours, wine tasting and guided visits to the island’s volcanic rock pools.
Puerto de la Cruz will be the festival’s home base for the four days.
The Tenerife Walking Festival is aimed at groups of people with an interest in walking and adventure and online registration is now open.
