Mischief Theatre’s West End show The Comedy About A Bank Robbery has revealed details of its first UK tour.
The tour will open at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre on 23rd August this year, before visiting a further 35 venues around the UK, currently booking until June 2019.
The show will continue to run in the West End during the tour at the Criterion Theatre where it is booking into its third year.
What’s the show about?
The show is set in the summer of 1958; Minneapolis City Bank has been entrusted with a priceless diamond. An escaped convict is dead set on pocketing the gem with the help of his screwball sidekick, trickster girlfriend and the maintenance man.
With mistaken identities, love triangles and hidden agendas, even the most reputable can’t be trusted. In a town where everyone’s a crook, who will end up bagging the jewel?
