About the show

The Producers tells the story of down-on-his-luck Broadway producer Max Bialystock, who schemes with timid accountant Leo Bloom to create the biggest flop in theatre history - only to have it backfire spectacularly, and with thunderous applause.

Andy Nyman (Fiddler on the Roof, Hangmen, Ghost Stories) will return as Max Bialystock for the West End production following his performances at the Menier Chocolate Factory.

He will be joined by Marc Antolin as Leo Bloom, Trevor Ashley as Roger de Bris, Raj Ghatak as Carmen Ghia, Harry Morrison as Franz Liebkind and Joanna Woodward as Ulla, all returning to their roles.

The original Broadway production opened at the St. James Theatre on 19th April 2001 and won a record 12 Tony Awards, picking up every award it was nominated for. It also gained critical acclaim after a successful run at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane between 2004 and 2007.
