London’s Leicester Square Theatre has revealed its 2017 adult pantomime as Trump - The Panto; a festive send-up of US president Donald Trump.
Described by producers as a ‘festive filthy frolic with a new scintillating, satirical twist’, Trump – The Panto will be held at Leicester Square Theatre between 12th and 30th December for the festive season.
The adult panto is only suitable for audience members aged 18 or over.
Synopsis
Trump – The Panto follows a diverse bunch of familiar fairytale characters who are branded as outsiders, and driven out of magical woods overrun by global political overlords.
Audiences will watch as the characters take a quest over an elusive wall to the mystical land of Mar-A-LaLa-Go, seeking out the great and powerful Trump.
Will they ever find acceptance? Is Kellyanne Conway really Sir Patrick Stewart in drag? And who is actually pulling Trump’s strings?
Casting is yet to be announced.

Further information
Trump – The Panto is being produced by the company who made David Blunkett The Musical and is written and directed by Stuart Saint.
David Blunkett The Musical ran 12 years ago and followed the love lives of the then labour Home Secretary and magazine publisher Kimberly Quinn.
After the success of this show and others such as Dick! and Sleeping Booty, by the same producers, this year’s pantomime is hoped to be just as popular.
