Waddesdon Manor in Buckinghamshire has revealed details of its 2017 winter season, which will include a decorated mansion, a fair, and outdoor light displays.
The winter season will run from 11th November until 2nd January, opening from Wednesday to Sunday each week, plus Monday 1st January. The attraction will be closed from 24th to 26th December.
The Christmas Fair will open on 15th November and run until 10th December. Groups can shop from over 60 exhibitors across four weeks, and buy gifts and festive food from local artisan producers and independent traders from around the country.
Visitors to the fair can enjoy shopping against a backdrop of the mansion, which will be illuminated in rainbow colours from a light show, from dusk each evening. There will also be two giant candlestick sculptures called Lafite, by artist Joana Vasconcelos that will also be lit up too.
More festive shopping can be enjoyed in the Manor Shop and the Wine Shop where Rothschild wine will be for sale. In addition there will be a two seasonal pop-up shops at the Stables, one continuing the winter light theme and another with a more traditional offering.
