Winter Wonderland Manchester has announced that group tickets are now on sale for its seasonal event, which will run from Saturday 10th December until Monday 2nd January 2017.
The annual event will return for its fourth consecutive year and offer over 50 family rides, a selection of shows, and the chance to meet Santa.
The wonderland will be spread over a 22,000 square meter exhibition space at EventCity – beside the Intu Trafford Centre.
New rides will be introduced this year, and the show Christmas Circus will make its return, offering daily performances of circus acts.
The Cinderella Mini Panto, which was popular in 2015, will also run this year.
A new show for this year, meanwhile, will feature popular character Basil Brush.
Families will also be able to meet Santa Claus alongside real reindeers every day up until Christmas Eve.
Younger visitors may enjoy taking photos with the ice princess, fairy and elf characters that will be roaming around.
Entry to the shows, rides and Santa’s Grotto are all included in the ticket price, which is operated on a session basis to avoid overcrowding.
There will also be a selection of games stalls on offer and food and drinks stalls for refreshments such as hot snacks and sweets.
A standard ticket costs £19.50 and groups of over 15 will receive a ten per cent discount.
Each session lasts four hours.
Manchester for groups
Manchester has lots to offer groups.
Groups could extend their stay this winter and visit other local attractions such as Cheshire Oaks for shopping, IWM North to learn some history or the Royal Exchange Theatre for a show.
