About the fam trip…
Scenic have invited Group Leisure & Travel readers to join them for a two-night stay on board one of their award-winning Space-Ships. There is the chance to explore the mighty Danube river and discover the cities of Budapest and Vienna as we travel along this beautiful waterway.
This Reader Club fam trip will be made up of two, two-night itinerary options between 12th and 16th October, with return flights from London Heathrow included. What excursion elements readers take part in, and the number of meals on board will depend on their flight times, but even this short trip will allow guests to really get a feel for what a Scenic cruise can offer.

What does the itinerary look like?
There are two options…
Itinerary option 1
Day 1, Wednesday 12th October, Budapest
Fly to Budapest and you’ll be transferred to your Scenic Space-Ship. Relax and raise your glass to the days ahead at this evening’s welcome reception.
Day 2, Thursday 13th October, Budapest
Freechoice: Make the most of a guided tour of Budapest including a piano concert, or relax and unwind at the Thermal Baths and Spa. Alternatively, join a local guide for a tour focused on the past and present of Budapest, or experience the labyrinths of the Hospital in the Rock. If you’re feeling more active, you may choose to join a hike to Buda Hill.^
Day 3, Friday 14th October, Vienna
While cruising, relax in one of the on board lounges and viewing areas to enjoy the scenery as your Scenic Space-Ship sails towards Vienna.
Itinerary option 2
Day 1, Friday 14th October, Vienna
Fly to Vienna and you’ll be transferred to your Scenic Space-Ship.
Tonight, breathe in the opulence and luxury of Palais Liechtenstein while enjoying a glass of fine Austrian Sekt during your Scenic Enrich. Then be enthralled by an enchanting private classical evening concert featuring the timeless music of Strauss and Mozart. Even in elegant Vienna, Palais Liechtenstein is one of the grandest of all venues.^
Day 2, Saturday 15th October, Vienna
Freechoice: Take a tour of the Slovakian capital Bratislava, or visit Schönbrunn Palace and witness the opulence of the Habsburg Empire. Alternatively, learn about Viennese coffee culture with a local expert during a tour, or explore Vienna on a cycling tour to Danube Island.^
Day 3, Sunday 16th October, Durnstein
Wake up in Durnstein today, one of the most enchanting villages in the region and take a leisurely stroll before heading back to Vienna airport for your flight home.

How Reader Club works
Our trips and tours provide group travel organisers with the chance to familiarise themselves with venues, attractions and destinations they feel may be of interest and suitable for their group – a ‘try before you buy’ scenario.
Terms & Conditions: Limited places available and GTOs will be qualified. Number of meals provided on board and number of Scenic Freechoice and Scenic Enrich excursions available to attend will be dependent on individual flight times. Complimentary drinks on board excludes rare wines, spirits and Champagne. Flights must be from Heathrow with flight times chosen and booked by Scenic. Flight supplement may be charged. Flights may not include extra baggage and may be hand luggage only. Scenic cannot be responsible for unforeseen cancellations or changes in dates or times of flights or cancellation of the holiday due to circumstances beyond reasonable control. Scenic will choose which GTO will travel on which date but preferences can be submitted for consideration. Spaces are limited and GTOs will be chosen by Scenic. Scenic will cover all the costs advertised above of GTOs and plus ones on the basis that the cost is paid at the time of booking. Scenic can withdraw offer and suspend the sailing at any time. In the case of suspension, Scenic will aim to rebook for a future date. Cabin grade will be chosen by Scenic. Does not include travel insurance. All GTOs and plus ones must be UK residents, over the age of 18 and fully vaccinated.
